Hungry diners in Sydney have a lot to get excited about because American Express and delicious. magazine have teamed up for a mouth-watering month of events and offers. As huge fans and supporters of the Sydney dining scene, American Express is extremely proud to be involved.

The festivities run from throughout March 2020, across restaurants in Surry Hills, the CBD, Potts Point and Parramatta. Selected participating restaurants will be promoted through American Express and delicious. marketing channels.

The month-long event is a great example of American Express getting behind the industry and encouraging their card members to eat out. American Express Vice President Brand, Charge Cards and Member Experience, Naysla Edwards said: 

“Dining out is a much-loved pastime for many of our American Express card members, so during March we’re running Amex Offers at numerous Sydney restaurants.”

The event officially launched on Friday, February 28th, when the delicious. team and friends will take over Barangaroo House. Each level offered a unique experience: House Bar, on the ground floor, hosted a ‘Party Starter’; on level 1, Bea, Barangaroo House’s flagship restaurant, will hosted a VIP dinner; and Smoke on level 2 is hosted a one-night-only Veuve Clicquot pop-up bar to continue the festivities.

The month has been carefully curated to include some of Sydney’s favourite dining spots, from Fratelli Fresh and Mr Wong to Bondi Pizza and ALEX&Co. Throughout March, when American Express card members dine out at participating restaurants and spend $60 or more, they’ll get $20 back*. Card members will be able to tuck into iconic dishes like Firedoor’s 182-day dry-aged beef rib and Toko’s Moreton Bay bug tempura and enjoy the sweet aftertaste of $20 back up to two times. This offer is fulfilled and funded by American Express.

One woman who’s particularly excited is delicious. Editor-in-Chief, Kerrie McCallum. She said:

“American Express delicious. Month Out is a really exciting initiative for delicious. There will be something for everyone, with great dining experiences and unique offers that encourage consumers to get out and eat out as much as possible throughout March.”

The 2019 delicious. 100 Chef of the Year, Brent Savage, was one of the first chefs to sign up, with the Bentley Group of restaurants, including Bentley Restaurant + Bar, Monopole, Yellow and Cirrus. Savage said:

“We didn’t think twice about signing on for this initiative – it’s the perfect excuse to remind Sydney of the incredible and world-class dining scene on offer.”

With such a broad and varied range of cuisines on offer, there’s something for everyone and it promises to be an exciting, vibrant and utterly delicious month that will have diners flocking to participating restaurants.
